Quick Air Fried Oyster Sauce Chicken (Chopped)


Massaged with salt, Oyster Sauce and Calamansi/Lemon. Then chopped to cook quicker. Skip the oil, since it has its own.

Ingredients

2-3 servings
  1. 6-8 pieces chopped chicken, thawed

  2. as needed Rock Salt,

  3. as needed Oyster Sauce,

  4. 2-3 Calamansi or Lemon/Lime juice

  5. as needed Seasoned Flour for light coating,

Steps

  1. Massage your chopped chicken with rock salt or sea salt

  2. Place the chicken in a container and squeeze lemon or calamansi juice on every piece, massaging as you go.

  3. Pour a few tablespoons Oyster Sauce (I use Maggi). Massage to coat every piece using your hand (1 hand works).

  4. Get another dry container and place a few pieces of chicken. Add your seasoned flour (I use Tasty Boy), cover and shake. Do the same to the rest of the chicken.

  5. Pre heat your AF for 5 mins at 160•C

  6. Arrange chicken on the mesh tray, allowing space for air in between the pieces. Cook for 12 mins on each side at 180•C.

  7. To crisp and brown, with the skin side facing the heating element, cook for another 3-4 mins at 200•C.

    AF varies in cooking so check and adjust temperature and cook time accordingly.
